¡@This is a brief review about the progress of women's studies program/center in Taiwan and how it relates to the development of gender equity education. Based on the stages theory to scrutinize the development of women's studies programs from the early neglected stage, and to the stage that is aware the gender difference but with male dominant concept, to the searching for missing women stage, to the conflicts among the subordinate status stage, to women's centered studies, to women studies as a challenge to discipline stage, to the gender harmony stage. Equity, justice and development is the optimal goal of women's studies. Therefore, gender equity education is the primary efforts applied by those activist, feminist and women studies scholars. The challenges faced to the promotion of Gender Equity Education will be the pedagogies, the development of teaching materials, the consciousness raising for those teachers, the feminist epistemology, the diversity/multicultural concept, feminism/female experiences, gender equity on sex education, confusion about the translation terms, women study/gender study/men study, marginal/central, localization/globalization, grassroots/partnership/elite dominance, with gender sensitivity mind administrators, etc. Personal is political. We need to continue the efforts and crate more supervision and monitor groups toward the development of Gender Equity Education.

¡@In the gay movement, the idea of anti-discrimination was considered politically correct. And there were still some other ideas taken for granted: People who loved the same sex must "identify" themselves as gays or lesbians; and others whose sexual preferences differed from one another then "identify" themselves as queers. Nevertheless, these are the main cultural reality of gay movement in Taiwan after the 90's. Unlike the intellectual, metropolitan ones, people who does not have chances to connect with these "identical" cultural resources could not be helped by this kind of gay movement. This article shows the interview story of two women in love, because they are not the intellectual, metropolitan ones, we can see the subjectivity of them is very different. In the story, we can see the delicate texture of how two women interact with each other. We can also see in which way they fight and in what resource context they are facing to the reality. And at last, we may see the occurrence from a woman who struggled for life to that she could find her own value and her own way.

¡@The motivation of this joint-writing article is making a record for the very important historical event of Taipei Protesting Case in 1997. Based on their different situated positions in the 1997 TPPC, each of the three authors describes their participation and their discoveries. Wang, Fun-Pin's narrative story presents two main issues: (1)how did her working class family background and her involvement in Taiwan workers' movement influence her initial decision of taking the active position in helping Taipei prostitutes; (2)in lights of human autonomous desires for lives and body/sexual desires, what she has encountered in her involvement with factory workers and sex workers. In Chou's article, she tried to illustrate how did the helping process and the relationships she has involved with Taipei prostitutes differ from the institutionalized helping profession. Both articles provide readers empirical data to see the kind of intimate understandings they have discovered are, in fact, a base for further inquiry of radical education and organizing methods. Hsia, Lin-Ching reflected on the social activities and the participants' experiences in TPPC, and took the case as an example of radical learning for grassroots women.

The Social Practice of Self-Supporting Women in a Disaster Area¡GA Practicing Record Report of Organizational Workers
¡@This story is about how the author learned and reflected through the integration of her own labor experiences in her family and the rebuilding of the women in the disaster Assembly House Community. Readers will acknowledge how the women worked together under sexual and social disadvantages. They created opportunities under economic and living difficulties. The other theme is about the purpose and the learning process of "chiau-niu working house". The author not only described how the women self-supported themselves, but also reflected on the inconsistencies and problems of the working society. The inconsistencies and problems forced the women to learn how to create resources under disadvantages and to team up. This is the meaning of mutual support among the disadvantaged.

A-Ciao Litigate¡G It is Sadden that Social Security Organization Become Rigid
¡@The present author took part in a medical service team engaged in the rescue of the 921 Earthquake. The target was Fu-kung Assembly House Community. Owing to the professional medical background and the integration of resources rendered by local members, well interaction of physical-mental care had been established with the local residents. The present story is an observation and retrospection of the author's own job-a description of help to a under-privileged woman.
¡@The woman described here was not from middle or low social rank who could be helped by any traditional social service. She had to make her own living. And she had to fight for life. The discrimination impressed upon the under-privileged by social welfare institutions and hierarchical administrative procedures is vividly portrayed by the author's critical point of view and delicate way of story telling.

Keywords: organizational system, viewpoint and posture, oppress, class, procedure, dignity

¡@The researcher uses Ludi Community College's woman-oriented courses as an example to indicate how an educator can design a series of woman-oriented courses in correspondence to the needs of local women. It also makes explicit the mode of empowerment that is the logic and methods behind these woman-oriented courses, and how to enable women to learn.
